The Graves of Craving

Israel weeps for meat; God gives them quail — a month's worth, until it comes out of their nostrils and becomes loathsome to them. But while the meat is still between their teeth, before they have swallowed, God's anger burns and he strikes them with a severe plague. They bury the dead and name the place Kibroth-hattaavah: Graves of Craving.
