The Burning Bush

A bush blazes in the desert without burning up. God's voice calls from the fire, commanding Moses to remove his sandals on holy ground, to confront Pharaoh, and to free Israel. When Moses asks God's name, the answer shakes the world: "I AM WHO I AM."

Now Moses was keeping the flock of Jethro, his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the back of the wilderness, and came to God’s mountain, to Horeb.
