God Kills Uzzah for Touching the Ark

As oxen carrying the Ark stumble, Uzzah reaches out to steady it — and God strikes him dead on the spot. David is both angry and terrified. He leaves the Ark at a stranger's house for three months. When he finally brings it to Jerusalem, he dances before it with all his might, wearing only a linen cloth. His wife Michal watches from a window and despises him for it.
