Nathan Traps David with a Parable
The prophet Nathan comes to David and tells a story: a rich man with many flocks steals a poor man's only beloved lamb to serve to a guest. David's anger blazes — 'the man who did this deserves to die!' Nathan looks at him and says: 'You are the man.' The baby born of Bathsheba dies as punishment. David's sin will haunt his house forever.
